Hoya Hindu Rope 8" Hb

The Hindu Rope Plant (Hoya carnosa compacta) is a unique, eye-catching plant with thick, twisted, rope-like vines and waxy, curled leaves, making it a standout in any hanging basket. 

In southern Louisiana, the Hindu Rope Plant can grow up to 2 to 4 feet long when trailing from a hanging basket. It thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate some partial shade. This plant is sensitive to cold and should be kept indoors or brought inside when temperatures dip below 50°F. The Hindu Rope Plant prefers well-drained soil and should be watered sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings, as it is drought-tolerant and prone to root rot if overwatered.
