Lemon Lisbon #5 Pot

The Lisbon Lemon Tree (Citrus × limon ‘Lisbon’) is a vigorous and hardy citrus tree known for producing large crops of classic, tart lemons with a bright yellow skin and juicy flesh. This variety is highly productive and often grows with a more upright, dense canopy. 

In southern Louisiana, the Lisbon Lemon Tree typically grows to a height of 15 to 20 feet with a spread of 10 to 15 feet, making it an excellent choice for larger gardens or as a specimen tree. It thrives in full sun, needing at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight each day to ensure healthy growth and maximum fruit production. While the Lisbon Lemon is more cold-tolerant than some other citrus varieties, it is still sensitive to freezing temperatures. In southern Louisiana’s USDA zones 9-11, it can survive temperatures down to 28°F (-2°C) with proper protection during cold snaps or frost, ensuring the tree remains healthy year-round.
