Iris Lemon Drop #1 Pot

The Iris Lemon Drop is a charming, compact iris variety known for its delicate, bright yellow blooms with a subtle fragrance, adding a pop of cheerful color to garden beds or containers. An interesting characteristic of the Lemon Drop iris is its repeat-blooming habit, providing blooms not only in spring but often again later in the season.

In southern Louisiana, Lemon Drop irises typically grow to a height of 12 to 15 inches with a spread of 12 inches, forming a neat clump. They thrive in full sun to partial shade and are well-suited for USDA zones 4-9, making them easily adaptable to the region's climate. These irises prefer well-drained soil and moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.
