Begonia Dragon Wing Red 6.5"

Begonia Dragon Wing is a popular, versatile plant known for its glossy green leaves and clusters of vibrant red or pink flowers that bloom continuously. Its cascading growth makes it perfect for hanging baskets, containers, or garden borders. 

In southern Louisiana, Dragon Wing begonias grow to a height of 12 to 18 inches with a spread of 15 to 18 inches. They thrive in partial shade to full shade but can tolerate some sun. While they are heat-tolerant, they are not frost-tolerant and should be treated as annuals in USDA zones 9-11. These begonias prefer consistently moist, well-drained soil, so regular watering is essential, especially during hot weather, but be sure to avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
